Well opinion varies I see quite a few, Mario Tennis, Giest, 2nd Sight, Starfox 2, Zelda: 4 swords, Zelda GCN, Tales of Symphonia (not out over here yet)
Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario 2, Viewtiful Joe 2, Resident Evil 4, Virtua Fighter: Cyber Generation and a few others should be coming out from now to July 2005.
Well I see them all as essential purchases but thats just my tastes. Everyones opinion varies and I respect yours... :)

I too have been taking much breaks in between games. There are many games I enjoy with the current consoles, but overal I feel it was a tad disappointed towards this generation.

Please throw in Odama and DK jungle beat in there too.

Halo, Prince of Persia, and Riddick alone make this generation worthwhile.

A yes with the caveat that the multiplatform madness and instant releases of licensed garbage both irritate the fuck out of me

But they also make lots of money for publishers and devs, which means bigger industry overall, shrug

Looking through my collection, I've been impressed with the innovation and entertainment value of:

Splinter Cell: Pandora's Tomorrow
Crimson Skies
War of the Monsters
Winning Eleven 7
Wind Waker

...to name a handful. I'm very happy with this, the greatest generation for videogames yet!
