Bring a handheld tape recorder, Melissa, or "the Operator" has found her voice (as noted by the recent batch of .wav files) and she'll be calling a payphone at each coordinate. Dana's hinted at it in some blog entries, but I'm too lazy to quote them. I would love some A&R guy to be handing out copies of Halo 2 at each location, but I doubt thats going to happen, August 24th is the start of the game, rather than the end of it. And in the 77 (omg) days between 8/24 and 11/9 is where all of the storylines will be finished.

Just saw THIS posted on the Bungie forums by 'Frankie' on August 1st.
"It may very well turn out to be Bungie-driven - and if the evidence for that comes forward, I'll be happy to admit I was wrong. For now, though, I'd like to ask that speculation about the subject be kept to a minimum, or moved entirely to other forums. I'm not going to go so far as to ban bee discussion here - but I will ask that you keep it Halo-related, and that you keep your mind open to the possibility that some ad agency somewhere thought it might be cool to pump up the Halo fans with an AI-type puzzle, without considering that Bungie fans might expect more than they're willing (or able) to give."

How would one go about finding the locations of these coordinates. They're Greek to me...
Longitude n' Lattitude, duh...
I'm stupid, this morning.

All the WI location are in the southern part of the state. If they had one in the Green Bay area, I would do my part. :)

Meh, the Atlanta location is within about 20 minutes of me, but I can't be arsed. I will be interested to see what the hell happens with all of this, though.

The one nearest to me is a train ride away. That's a pain.
...and expensive....
-
Dave, ALL of the 3 B-More spots I'm going to have no pay phones.

Then keep your eyes open for UFO's. It's either pay phones or UFO's
