I'm curious on what you guys think about Asians in Society, how they have been treated and what their roles are in todays world, and what sterotypes you have about them. I need some input and may work on a essay or something about the Asian culture. Thanks.

eh, they have their ups and downs. You'd need to ask me specific questions and exact countries.
Korian Korian Korian, Asian-Americans are by far the most successful minority in America and this will likely not change for a very long time. Ive never heard of someone getting seriously, seriously discriminated against because they are Asian, and I have a lot of Asian friends. Asian people got it very good in America today and I tip my cap to them, as they worked very hard to get to this point.
With regards to stereotypes, does it really matter? It's clearly not holding Asians back in society.
And as for the small penis thing... I've seen Japanese pornos. It's true.
eh, there women are small too, so it hardly matters. There is a lot to be said for skill aswell. If its big enough they can feel it, and they know how to use it, I imagion its all good. What do I know though, I'm not a girl, so whatever.

Japanese play a much more fundamentally sound game of baseball than we do, which probably explains why our shit team couldn't even qualify for the Olympics.
Asians just have this weird tendency to go to extremes when it comes to their personality. I blame the anime/manga they were watching/reading as they grew up.
Traditional asian parents seem to be very demanding of their children from what I've seen. Also, I dont think koreans believe in a regular 9 to 5 job..they HAVE to own a business no matter how risky. Nothing wrong with being your own boss of course. My best friend is korean and his parents must've had ..mmm.. . 10 different stores and just about all failed.

i pretty much am with diff, they have become the "good" minority in american culture, the super smart hard workers who are polite and better at math then you, and i really dont see to many negative feelings to them. Asian women must be sick of being portrayed as sex-maniacs by the media, but beyond that, i only know asian person irl,and he conforms to the steriotype every way, a friendly guy who is one year away from becoming an optometrist,and works hard to get top of the class grades. take from that what you will.
I'm a twinkie (yellow outside, white inside). I call myself a ABC (American Born Chinese). Only thing I dont like about asian women are their body. No shape to them. No breast, no butt..except a few I have seen. The height doesnt bother me.

Oh and as far as my personal opinions on Asians..Well, I've never met that many..Not a lot of them down here in the sticks. There was a Japanese exchange student that went to my high school, but I never met her. I was too busy trying to flirt with the Brazilian exchange student. It annoys the crap outta me seeing people at my school say shit like AzN PrYdE. Even moreso than any other ethnic group. It also annoys me when they treat me different when I tell them I'm half Japanese and half white. Like I'm inferior to them.
But then again, those people are in the minority. My school is pretty cool.
Many Asians tend to be very ethnocentric from my experience.
Though most asians parents tend to be okay with their daughters dating and even marrying white guys, black guys are almost unilaterally out of the question.
One thing old-school Asians know how to do is make you feel COMPLETELY unwelcome.

Asians are overwhelmingly sleepy. They will fall asleep at the wheel all the time, sometimes for minutes.
They can also blend into their surroundings.
Japanese college students are possibly the laziest people on earth.
I'm not too into Asian Americans. Nothing is less attractive than an Asian girl speaking like a white valley girl. If I'm with an Asian girl, the only Caucasian that I want in her is me.

As far as chinese and korean canadians go, I guess they're not all that different than anyone else, really. There are a lot more first- and second-generation citizens in that group, so they tend to work harder and push their kids to succeed, which is probably because they come from families that worked hard to get here and they don't have that sense of entitlement that the lazy white-trash canadians have.
I really don't have much experience with other asian groups. I've only met a couple of japanese canadians, and south east asians are a pretty diverse group, as far as I can tell.

I live in Vancouver which is like 1/3 Asian so it feels weird if I go to a city with hardly any Asian people.

I dislike every race on this planet, however good things about Asians...They do seem very prone to success but that's not all of them, they make some cool stuff but some bad stuff, Asian food is often good but too damn expensive, I used to have some good Asian friends but I don't even know any now.

I like asians fine, but I noticed that whenever I smile at them or try to say hi, they always look away from me or walk faster, or just treat me like I'm going to rape them or something. Only old asian ladies like me :(
Anyway, I like asians, but they don't seem to be too accepting of black people... which is weird, because Europeans have shit on them so hard in the past.

Yea, well, Lenny Dykstra's last good season was in 1993, and Pete Rose played in the 1970's. It's a different game now than it was in the 1970s, 1980s, and even early 1990s. For better or worse, McGwire/Sosa/Bonds totally changed the game, at least in the short term.
You look at football players from the 1970s and they dont look nearly as big as they do now. Even basketball, to some degree. Training in the off-season is now way more important than it ever was. It's just the nature of things.
It's two guys playing catch, and occassionally the baseball will be hit and they'll be some running. Kirby Puckett was totally out of shape, infact he was shaped like a fridge with legs and he still played fine. Being able to throw a ball that fast means you have to have 1 strong arm and know about leverage.Quote:
