Don't kill me yet...
I'm sure some of you played this on MAME or (by a long shot) in an arcade. I must say , as stupid as this game looks, I found it to be a really hilarious experience.
Everything from the evil frogs to the flying ninjas and even the Sakura tree-head guy-is hilarious. There's even a Pearl Harbor "parody" (I swear).
My fiancee and I have so much fun playing this game and I am even considering getting the PCB for my collection.
Where else would you see a hero do a naked dance when he dies?
Let's hear your experiences, thoughts, or anything you have to say on this game...

It's by Namco, right?
I haven't played it but it sounds interesting.
-
Yes...it is a Namco System 16 game.
If you're not biased against emulation, gave a spin on MAME...
You just might like it...
-
I have nothing against emulation.
Are you sure it's not on Namco System 1 hardware? I thought only Sega had hardware called System 16.
-
You're right...(damn '6' key!):o
It is System 1 hardware...
-
I know I've seen this somewhere else before. I like the graphical style of it, but the character looks damn retarded.
I'd play it knowing it's made by Namco. And I want to see that Pearl Harbor bit. MAME... Yes.
-
I inadvertently stumbled upon this game through the same means, and found it rather endearing. Quite a fun game, while being humorous and colorful at the same time. It's a shame a console port of this never existed.
-
I just checked out the first level on MAME. Hilarious stuff. I'm surprised it wasn't ported home, especially to the PC Engine.
-
There's a reference to Pearl Harbor and an "insult" to Japanese people too...but I'll wait a bit before I reveal it....
-
Actually, the "Pearl Harbor" bit (and the "insult") is all text. If you can read Katakana, then it should be easy:sweat:
-
Katakana I can do. I wonder.
-
So what does the name translate to? I've heard the name daimyo from all the samurai manga I read, so what does the full title mean?
