"Namco has confirmed they will release Time Crisis III in arcade sometimes this fall, the latest sequel of the popular lightgun shooter series, the game will run on the System 246 arcade system. A PlayStation 2 port of the game is expected to follow after the arcade release."
well, i for one am looking forward to this. hopefully the level of interactivity is as high as Crisis Zone.
I thought Crisis Zone was Time Crisis 3.
If it's anywhere near as good as Crisis Zone, I'll be happy.

well, if it is Crisis Zone, then i'll still be more then satisfied. especially since we can expect graphics to be updated like the Time Crisis 2 port.
i doubt this is the case though, since the article does say it's a new System 246 game.
it's nice to see that Namco is supporting the GunCon2 more then Sega did with the Dreamcast light gun.
I don't see why namco won't give us Crisis Zone, oh well, a new Time Crisis is still great. I also hope they have the same level of interactivity of Crisis Zone. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Yeah, Great news. I really like both TC2 and CZ and will be looking forward new Crisis game. Plus Ninja Assault, Dino Stalker and End Game all coming out with GunCom 2 support. Its gun game paradise on PS2 :)
Anyone else having as much trouble as me finding GunCon 2s? Every store is out of stock and say they have no idea when they'll get any new ones. A few still have Project Titan and Point Blank 3, but I really want the PS2 model, and not PSX one (although I'll still get the games to play on my PS2). Should I just get those and deal, or should I wait for a GunCon2?
Well, You could buy Time Crisis 2 or Vampire Night with GunCom2 included in the box set, but hurry, since those are out of print now. Check out Ebay, they have tons of auctions for these games.
i'd just import a GunCon2 if i were you. they're not hard to find, i've never seen them cost more then $30 (brand new), and best of all, they're black!
That's just the thing, I wanted to get the box set, but they are nowhere to be found in my area. They sold out just before i got my PS2, and now they haven't had any since. How does the Gun Con 2 compare to the original? the original still works on PS2, right? Also, what are some good gun games for PS1? I want to get the Time Crisis and Point Blank games, but I know there are others out there. I saw a Jesse James game, but it looked pretty crappy.
Chances are, all the new guncon supported light-gun games may have a packaged in lightgun version for a limited time like with Time Crisis 2 and Vampire Night. Of course, TC2 was a Namco game and VN was a Sega/Namco game so it might only be games Namco wa sinvolved in that will ened up getting the special bundles. If thats the case, hit eBay or wait till TC3 hits the US.
