I know a site you can download it from. I know its frowned upon but if it does get released here, its definitely worth the buy. I just played into it a bit and enjoyed it more than the console version. Same game, but feels better for some reason. Graphics are nice for GBA as well. PM me if you want info.

Anyway, I agree about cheap deaths due to clutter, glitches, and somewhat spotty hit detection, but the game compensates for it well (mostly by ensuring you have enough lives not to worry about it), and that some levels do drag on for too long. The game is a chore to beat in one sitting, but it can be done.
It's certainly not without its problems, and there's a ton of them, but overall it really impressed me and it was certainly worth what I paid for it. I do hope we see a sequel eventually, as I'm still enjoying this and to see a more refined and polished version would be great.
Picked it up a few weeks ago at Toys R Us for $10. Worth it.
