Based on what I've seen so far, I think Metroid Prime has the same chance to be a system seller as Panzer Dragoon Orta does.

Back to the original, I'd have to say that Metroid Prime is honestly one of the main reasons I bought my Cube (along with Rogue Leader), so to me it is somewhat of a system seller.
For me personally, no. I'll get it, and probably like it, but I didnt get a Cube for it. For the GP, if Nintendo markets it right, it will sell lots of systems in America I imagine. Something tells me it isnt going to sell terribly well outside the US of A.

Europe sold 400,000 Gamecubes the first week. Metroid has been a big hit in the past and I'm sure it's fans reside in more than just the U.S. I feel that if this game ranks above the 75% rating, fans will come in droves to play it.
personally Im gonna get it, but honestly, in the modern mainstream gaming market, i doubt this game is gonna sell Cubes...
if RE didnt do it earlier this month, Metroid Prime sure as hell wont.
again it is mainly appealing to those nintendoites who already own a Cube.
