Yeah, I got nervous then they moved up to Mosul, too.
This country needs Jack Bauer.
What happened?

My guess would be that 99% of it is made up by our government in order to keep the general public in a constant state of fear so they won't notice how big of a dumbass we have in office. But I also hate our government so take that as you will.Quote:

But I also think that al-Qaeda and friends have set their sights on other, softer targets in other countries. An attack in countries like Spain or Turkey or Saudi Arabia wont bring nearly the reprocussions (sic) that one on the US will. Also, if some people from, say, The Phillipines are kidnapped, then said country has a greater chance of negotiating with terrorists, while the US wont do that.
Its all about risk vs. reward, my friend.
You know, one of the few posts I made in a political thread in the past couple of years was in response to the Abu Ghraib torture/humiliation pictures. I said we shouldn't be so sure that the abuse was an isolated set of happenings and not part of a military-sanctioned effort to break down prisoners' wills. Someone called that line of inquiry stupid, but what have we learned since then?Quote:

How does all of this nonsense change the fact that Xeno G is a stupid stoner?Quote:
