I am in Smackdown vs. RAWs Beta, so I can't do this... and I am in the better of the two, so I'm ok. :)
They only let you in one beta at a time?Quote:

Yep... I guess it's so they know you'll spend all your time on one game instead of two.Quote:

When is the release date for this?
10.26.2004
i hope youre wrong. id like to know why you think so tho. because it isnt names HL2 or Halo 2? ive been looking foreward to this game quite a bit. kinda sucks that since im in the RvS beta......check that.....Korly is (or will be soon) i cant do this as well.Quote:

As for why I think Killzone will be just another one, I just don't see the PS2 having the power to make a FPS that can be as engrossing as what an advancement needs to be. I enjoyed Time Splitters 2 because it added humor and all the extra modes and stuff, but technically it was no marvel.Quote:

But how well does it run? Those stills may look nice, but when in motion, that's what I wonder about.
Check out the vids at gametrailers.com
ok, I just watched the trailers, and there is no way in hell I would confuse that for an Xbox game. Everything is so... grey... maybe a little green. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it will be fun, and I may enjoy playing it, but it doesn't look like anything new or spectacular.Quote:

I'll be home tomorrow to get the package from UPS so I'll post my impressions then....which being the XBox Live fanboy I am,will probably be pretty bad.
Got my kit today. Will check it out after the Packer game. ;)
I got it just now, and played in a deathmatch game. It's no Halo, but it could be cool.
I'll play more in a little while.
I need to play it more, but the whole reloading thing could be for the best, or it could be this games death. It takes 4-5 seconds to reload and it's not uncommon to unload a clip and enemy is still alive. One would guess that this is to support acurracy over unloading, which is good.
If you check out the beta boards supposedly it really does take a LOT of hits to kill someone.
It does take a load with your primary weapons, if you are only getting body hits.
It's stupid that you have to hold right on the dpad to chat.
Halo killer MY ASS!
'cmon, it's early. Let's cut 'em a little slack.
welcome to every PS2 online game. My main gripe with Syphon Filter was trying to run and shoot, and ask my friend for some help.Quote:

Have I ever mentioned how happy I am BO3 is on XBL?Quote:

It takes way too many fucking shots to kill people, I've blasted guys point blank range in the face with a shotgun and still managed to live long enough to kill me instead. This game needs a jump button badly. I hate how erratic the camera gets when you toss grenades, and the orange sniper scope is just awful. And the reload times are pretty rough, it takes an eternity to reload the shotgun.
Well, at least now when I said that this game wasn't gonna be that good, I knew I was right. And to refresh people's memories, I'm not a huge fan of Halo either.
I never get any beta invites from the GAF.
I did get a neato hat though. :)
You need to update your profile and info periodically.Quote:

I was expecting more from this game. It was one of the few I was keeping an eye on. I guess I'll rent it and try when it releases. I guess I wont be putting my Network adapter to use outside of Socom II & FFXI.
We should set up a game together and screw around. I'd like to relive my Alien Front Online days and own Evilmog like he's never been owned before.
I'd be interested.
I got a invite to Beta Test Crash and Burn I never heard of the game but signed up for it anyway.
I tried to sign up for CaB but since I'm in the Killzone and R&C3 betas, they won't let me in this one.
The time has come for you beta testers to show yourself and play some games together. I've been playing this thing all the time now and it's really starting to grow on me. My gaming sessions run from around 12am to 6am, and I pretty much only play Assault, which is the only game mode that requires skill and team work, which makes the game ten thousand times more fun then the mindless deathmatch modes. So far the only other person I ran into online that I know is Mr.WhiteFolks, but he didn't have a mic.

Based on the strength of the multiplayer I wasn't sure if I wanted to get the final, but after watching the videos on that site I am alot more interested in seeing the final results. There are things in the video that the dev team removed from the beta for technical reasons, such as rag doll physics and mele attacks.
