Word. Until Al Sharpton buys 800,000 XM radio subscriptions I don't give a fuck about him.

All these special interest groups keep talking about the "nation" being offended; who's the nation? I've never heard anyone not affiliated with them complain about what some dumbass says on the radio.
I'm looking for more up-to-date statistics, but I thought this was interesting:
http://majikthise.typepad.com/majikt..._fcc_inde.htmlThis doesn't surprise me at all.Quote:
According to a new FCC estimate obtained by Mediaweek, nearly all indecency complaints in 2003—99.8 percent—were filed by the Parents Television Council, an activist group.
This year, the trend has continued, and perhaps intensified.
Through early October, 99.9 percent of indecency complaints—aside from those concerning the Janet Jackson “wardrobe malfunction” during the Super Bowl halftime show broadcast on CBS— were brought by the PTC, according to the FCC analysis dated Oct. 1.
edit: Looks like they're still at it.

lol That's awesome.
Yeah, the PTC are behind all the janet jackson nipplgate fallout.
This shit isn't even about the FCC, though. It's fucking sattelite. From what I'm hearing XM is in a fucking panic over all the cancellations and their stock is falling now, too. Good. Take that, shitheads.
Sounds like solid proof that their show was the most popular program on the network. I love the show so much I don't want it to go away (again). It's a real shit storm considering the poker tournament and Traveling Virus show are right on top of us now.
I remember hearing that the total complaints for the Super Bowl nip slip was less than 1% of the audience that was watching.
I'm not an O&A fan but this is bullshit.
It's a pay service. They should be allowed to say whatever they please and let the market decide if they make a living.
It's not clear right now, but they might be on FreeFM during this suspension/firing. XM isn't even airing O&A reruns, though. 24/7 Ron and Fez.
The press release that's out said they're going to be doing the FM portion.
