Ok so say I want to save this smilie to my desktop ---------> :eep:
I right click on it and choose save picture as, and I choose the desktop but it only allows me to save them as .bmp and that's it. So when I see a .gif I want to save, I can't because it won't move as a .bmp
Where are the options to change this? I checked Internet Options -> Advanced but nothing looks like what I want.
Any help?
It's a stupid problem with IE. Clear out your cache and cookies.
Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Cookies/Delete Files
I think Delete Files is enough, and if that doesn't work do the same with cookies. Make sure you check offline content.
Restart IE.

Glad to hear. I wish MS would fix this stupid bug. All the cached images are .bmp I believe, and for some reason IE starts looking at the cached version instead of the actual image online.Quote:
