Not as bad as buying GBA Doom to do that.Quote:
I want to purchase this game just so I can marvel at how pretty it is, wondering to myself "How the hell is this a portable?" I'm so gay.
At least GBA Doom is, well, Doom.

I did that for Alpha 3 on the GBA, too. :P I play it, too... damn.Quote:

PSP interest-1
Like 3/4 of the announced games are ports. When did you hear they weren't allowing ports?Quote:

I don't know if anyone replied to this, but, the Game Gear got owned by the Gameboy because the GB was just simply better.Quote:

There were a ton of reasons the Game Gear flopped.
As for the PSP -- Eh. Is anyone really supirsed? Wasn't it at this last E3 that Sony said there would be no ports on the machine, yet the only game playible on the floor was a port of Tales of Destiny? Yeah... Thanks Sony. We know you're trustworthy.
I'm still on the fence about the PSP in general ... I have a feeling, considering the hardware is good in all aspects, that everyone will end up buying one and it will rock in the end, though.
You guys aren't alone. Me too!Quote:

GBA ports at least serve a purpose, in that they are games from an old system that are becoming available to a new crowd or have the nostalgia factor for the old crowd. Some of the PSP ports are the same way, but ports of current ps2 games seem like it's not going to do much for the system.
The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is that the PSP is launching in the same price range as the PS2, but the games will have a significantly lower budget than ps2 games. Why pack in all this hardware power and then create a bottleneck by limiting production funds? Are ps2 ports the only games that are going to use the potential of the system?
Despite my bitching it's a sony system so it will sell no matter what.
sleeveboy, there was a special edition Wipeout released in Europe, essentially a Wipeout collection of the first two games, if memory serves.
Nah, I don't think that'll be the case... I doubt we'll ever see something on the grand scale of, say, Final Fantasy XII hit the small screen, but I think companies will still these PSP games will have a better production value then, say, GBA games.Quote:

Like I said, I don't think it'll be a problem.
