Yeah, he was one of the few Republican types around here whose political views I could take seriously, and he was a pretty decent guy.

I don't have a problem with you making fun of me for that. It's times when people do things like calling me an anime dork, when I hardly even touch the stuff anymore, that gets on my nerves.

And, being absolutely honest here, I don't purposely jizz all over Japan every chance I get. I went, I enjoyed the place (for reasons beyond anime or comics or video games or whatnot), and I'd like to go back. When the topic comes up, and I know about something, I talk about it. Beyond that, though, I swear to God, I don't purposely go on and on about Japan on here.

The whole "being a Japanese schoolgirl" joke, I 100% own up to. Beyond that, and my unashamed bias for Asian girls, I was under the impression that I was far less annoying than I used to be. Typically, I try to keep that kind of stuff to my own boards where it is the main topic of conversation.

Yoshi I don't have a problem with, actually. Though the gay-hate is a big thing for me, I don't mind talking to him. I really do enjoy hearing everyone's opinion on politics.

Based on all the times I've chatted with him on IRC I don't really think he's switched parties since 9/11, just priorities.

Yoshi likes to say outrageous things in the off-topic boards. I'm not sure if he's an outright homophobe, but his sense-of-humor indicator is definitely broken when it comes to this issue.
