Me too as far as where I like drinking. I don't dig bars, don't go clubbing, and don't go to big parties. My favorite place to get pissed is while outdoors, camping or something like that... anything with a nice good fire and the nightsky above me. Drinking can be a real pleasure at those times. I don't get the "social drinker" scene... what a load of shit. Maybe I'm missing something in that regard but eh fuck it.

I'm split here. I don't like drinking and listening to music, I agree that it takes away from the experience. However smoking can enhance the greatness of really great music if you ask me. The down side is that it'll make you think that bad music is good. But I definitely don't think it takes anything away from it.

I barely drink a damn thing. Especialy the way that I see people "act a foo'" when they get drunk.

Not that one beer will make me into an alcoholic or anything.....

Why do people fuck aside from procreation? Because it feels really good. As can drinking, smoking, snorting, shooting, dropping, popping, etc. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

This is the truth. I haven't drank to drunkenness for awhile now; 151 and I had a bad experience once. Now, if I drink, it tends to be with a good, dark stout, and a couple of friends.

Drinks are always best with those you are cool with...plus they take care of you when you are fubar

Getting wasted is pretty fun, by I don't do it much.

same here. Music is a very cerebral thing for me, and being drunk takes away that edge to it. I always stay pretty sober at concerts too so I can take it all in.

that said, When you're drunk and a song you love comes on, you're 10x as enthusiastic about it. One time, I got shattered off an entire bottle of Vodka (downed it in an hour or 2, ugh), and apparently I was going nuts air drumming and trying to sing to the Mars Volta :p
