Same for us, here. The power flickered out for a few minutes and the cellphone towers went out briefly, but that was the extent of the damage. I barely remembered this happened.Quote:

Seeing a clear night sky and observing stars in a city with the blackout... would have to be one magnificant experiance.
Let it be said that some of us on the west coast have no fucking clue what you people are rambling about.
I've only seen the milky way band once. I was about 8 at the time and we were out camping somewhere. I didn't really know what I was looking at then, but damn it was cool.
