It'll be really cool if they put some work into it, but... I'm not the biggest fan of '94.
If I had my way.... 98 gameplay and characters + 99 King + 01 Kyo + Kula, Vanessa, Xiangfei, MeiLing + 95, 96 backgrounds + 96 music + all in highres + somehow make alternative outfits for every character even if that would be a hell of a lot of work for a sprite-based game.
'94 Rugal is a snap for me using Team England. Use Mai & Yuri in your 1st-2nd positions (Save King for last!). Try to tick-throw him in the first form. If you lose Mai and Yuri while fighting Rugal's 2nd form, go with Venom Strikes constantly. Just watch and make sure Rugal doesn't come too close. Rugal should try to reflect or block the Venom Strike, and every once in awhile he'll mistime a reflector and eat it.Quote:

If I did a special 10th Anniversary KOF Project, it would have the original '94 music (yes, the STs of the first and second games are my favorites in this series), and the whole '98 lineup with the additions of Eiji, Mr.Big, Geese, and Krauser, Seth, Vanessa, Kula, and K9999 at least. There'd be different systems such as Original (used in '94 & '95), and Advanced (like '98). Oh yeah- '98 game play for life. :) That one is the best to date.
i thought so too ('94 for life!), but then again, i've never really played all of the series except for a few here and there. i only love '94 because it's the first KOF i've ever played.Quote:

Hmmm. What's King of Fighters A (GBA)...never heard anything about it.
And I agree on the team edit comment. One of my only complaints about 94 is the fact that it lacks this feature.
I love a lot of SNK games, but he's right. The amount of money you had to pay for a Neo Geo and games was ludicrous. Seeing as how you can play it at an arcade, or get a candy cab + AES carts for less than the home system. Not to mention the biggest games in the Neo line came out on other systems as well.Quote:

As for KoF94...sounds nice, but nothing visually big has changed in the KoF games anyway, so how would it be 'remade?' I hope SNK puts some effort in here.
And yeah, I'm all for remakes of things. I wonder how many people are too, and how many are only happy BECAUSE it's SNK rehashing a title.
The even easier strat is to get kinda close, dodge, throw, then repeat. When you dodge, he just can't resist throwing a kick and throwing him out of it is pretty easy. If you don't get a perfect on him doing this, your timing is a bit off. I got this from a gamest vid...I'll see if I can find a link to that.Quote:
