I really don't think this is true because (a) the Halo multiplayer experience is still going strong years later and (b) nobody really ever talks about Metroid Prime at all. It became a bargain bin game very quickly. Not to say that it wasn't a very good game, but odds are people aren't going to be talking about it years later like they did with, say, Super Metroid. It just wasn't the phenomenon that Nintendo wanted it to be. In fact, I don't think Nintendo does phenomenons anymore. Hell, I love their games, but they're just not big with the people, and that is what gets you talked about in the future.Quote:
