I gotta hear this so I can correct myself from ever criticizing the right. Otherwise when they make that illegal, I'll be the first to the firing squads.
Al Sharpton 2004.
The last thing I want is to stop people from criticizing the right. I was referring solely to diffx, who has a 'know it all' attitude more than anyone else on here. Yet, has the audacity to accuse others of it. That's all.Quote:

Just for the record my thing is this, I don't care that Bush is stupid, I don't care that he was coke addict and a drunk. I don't care that he's failed or what he did when he owned the rangers.
I am judging him on his presidency. What he has done to make this country better?
I see almost nothing.
And this country is no better off than when Clinton was president.
Yeah, but YAWA's the administration. I can't criticize him.Quote:

You leave Lhadatt out of this, he's the best president this country has ever seen!
My problem with the Bush Administration and everyone who supports it, is that they refuse to admit mistakes. Granted every politician is the same to a degree, it's just that this group has pushed those limits.
Each member of this administration has their own agenda and have made mistakes trying to reach their goals (which is going to happen when they're all pulling for different sides), but none are willing to admit they have gone about it wrong or even willing to compromise with the other (Powell vs. Rummy on Iraq importance over Al Quada in early 2001). The problem with Bush is that he was unable to manage his staff to keep things in-check.
And last, my problem with his supporters (McCain, Ruddy, Arnold) is that they are improper leaders, if they are willing to ignore the mistakes and/or backing of radical issues they themselves do not believe in (Marriage Definition) in order to ignore the problems just so they can back the team. It's an extreme example, but how many rational German politicians do think ignored the Aryan movement just to support the winning Team and help Germany grow from poverty? Many. And how many American Revolutionary Governors ignored the British radical taxation laws, just to support the Queen and strengthen the Empire? Damn Few.
