Collecting videogame series

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has an elaborate single series collection. I know Werewolf has an amazing Final Fantasy collection and I believe it is Shin Johnpv that has a very elaborate Street Fighter collection. Does anybody else over the top when It comes to collection a particular series? I'm sure there are some nice Megaman and Castlevania collections.

Here is a picture of my inprogress RE collection. This is only my games, because all my RE swag and items have been packed for moving. I have 3 domestic titles to add and then imports, but I do have at least the superior version of each Resident Evil game ever made to date (less 1.5 :().

Very nice RE collection, I used to collect all the King of Fighters games.... but I stopped. Now, I try very hard not to collect anything. A barren existence is so much more fulfilling! ;)

I just completed my Phantasy Star Collection. I'm in progress of completing a Shining series. Also working on Lunar and Grandia. However, I'm may not be as complete as some. Unless an import version has extra stuff, or wasn't released stateside, I don't bother. I think it's stupid to have three versions of the same game.

Do you plan on buying the Saturn version?

Yes, I need the domestic versions of RE for the Saturn, RE 3 for the PSX and N64/DC versions of RE 2.

My brother collects Final Fantasy's, but that went out the window once X-2 was released. Back to the store.

I have a bunch of smaller series that I treat just like that. I really don't see the need to own game that you don't play or may never play. The one reason why my RE collection got so big was the constant upgrading. For RE for the PSX, then RE:DC for the PSX, then RE:Remake for the Cube. The only reason why I went out of my way on the cube version is because I bought the REmake, Zero and then found :CV X for $5 during the CC sales and got RE3 for $14 used at Mediaplay, at that point I figured when not round it out.

There is a STACK of N64 RE2 at my Toys are us for like 5 bucks each. I'll pick one up for you if you like...

Collect King of Fighters games, Street Fighter, and Mega Man games.
