By unilateral, I assume you mean, "not approved by the UN", in which case, yes, I would rather have a President who doesnt feel the need to get UN approval to scratch his ass.

Because the world shouldnt have a say in what we do to the world, the United States should have the only say.

No... but the UN is hardly an adequate facilitator. Every country has its own profits, its own motives, its own secrets, its own best interests in mind, and to acquiesce to a squabbling bureacracy filled with people who do not have your best interests in mind is madness.

Bottom line, every country on Earth is looking out for themselves, and we'd be stupid to give any control to a group of countries which are not looking out for the US.
