I know and agree that doing things the natural way is the preferable way, but there's too many kids in the world not getting the upbringing they should that you can just ignore it and hope it goes away, that you can say "tough, not my fault"... I'd like to agree with that, to a degree I do, but it will end up affecting you, through stupidity, through crime, through the culture it generates and perpetuates. Misguided, forgotten kids beget more of the same, we're already seeing the effects today and it will continue to get worse so long as no true parents put aside the semantics of their child neeeing to be so in a technical sense, in flesh and blood, and step up to the plate of just being a good parent for someone that needs it, to give the kids that are already here on this earth a good life instead of bringing more kids in and leaving the forgotten to wither.Quote:

I agree with "it's not my fault", it's not, but the buck can't be passed forever, the fact is that it's there and it's getting worse, and will continue to do so unless people start giving some real thought and action to it. Adoption's not the most popular choice for everyone, but it should be considered strongly when the parental urge descends upon you.
