I love Deception series, and it is great to hear that we will get a new death trapping adventure !!!

There needs to be far more Death Trap Adventure games!

it's about god damn time. this series is the shizzle, as nothing's better than busting combos off on people with multiple traps.

Dark Forces III: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. I'm starting to love series titles, I'm still waiting to see how Tales of Destiny 2's name holds up when it hits American shores.

Back on-topic: I really like the ideas of the Deception series but everything else has been riddled with so many flaws I've never really liked playing them, I feel kinda like Korly on the matter. I hope this one is much better.

Given Tecmo's great production values and quality this gen (Rygar, Fatal Frame, DOA, Ninja Gaiden*), I'd say that's pretty much a given.


*Please don't take my mention of Itagaki-related games as a license to deride this thread into 18 pages of bitching, people.

Heh, I was just about to suggest Itagaki take over the project. Of course, the way he talks about Kasumi makes me think he wouldn't be into letting you squash and impale her.
The 2 in the title made me think there was another PS2 Deception game. Anyways, can't wait to see how it turns out.

It's about damn time that this game was announced. I loved the one I played on the PSX, and have always wanted to see this serious return on a more advanced playform.

And I love the fact that now my very anti-PS2 friend will be forced to buy one, and he adores this series.

I played the hell out of a demo for Deception II, but never got around to buying any of them. Not this time though, paycheck willling.
