If Philly is able to contain Vick like they did two years ago, they won't have any problems on the defensive side. I'm still worried about the offense without T.O.

I'll take the Falcons & Patriots next week - I just can't ever bring myself to take a rival NFC East team in anything. Hopefully the actual SuperBowl will live up to expectations, but I can't help but feel the AFC Championship is going to be the real Super Bowl. I've been waiting for a proper Steelers/Pats AFC Championshjip game all year.

And Marino's death-stare at Boomer Esiason was hilarious. When Boomer said that I was like "what the heck did you ever accomplish, Mr. Bengal?" (Got to the Superbowl once & got spanked, that's what. Has anybody ever been called the next Boomer Esiason?)

Any pretty good quarterback that winds up playing for Cincinnati will probably have the privilege of being called that.

I meant Esiason. (It was the white hair thing)

Esiason was trying to explain, that like Marino, Peyton Manning may have all the great stats on offense, but will never win the big one without a defense to back him up. Marino jumped the gun, thinking Boomer was trying to say that Marino never got to a Superbowl.

Boomer had a pretty good team that year( Chris Collinsworth, Ikky Woods etc.). Unfortunately, much like Marino, Boomer had to face Joe Montana's 49'ers in the Superbowl.

Football would be alot better if other teams could do "run-ins" (ala WWE) during games.

Maybe...I think his exact words were something like "he's the new Dan Marino - he's good enough to get you through the regular season but he won't win you the big one." He basically called Marino a loser to his face.

But I don't think you can pin Peyton's playoff troubles on the defence. He just flat-out chokes every single year. I thought the Colts' D played above their heads this game, until they finally tired out in the second half.

I believe the Steelers win earlier in the season, wasn't a fluke. Sure the Patriots will have Dillon this time, but the Steelers will have both Bettis and Staley. Both teams are very simular, but having home field advantage will be a plus.

Your QB looked like a scared chicken against the Jets. The Pats will eat that shit for breakfast. Steelers + AFC Championship + Home Field = no advantage. Good luck anyway, even though I'm picking the Pats I can't stand them. :P
