The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I started playing Morrowind YET AGAIN, this time spurred on by a doco about ancient egypt, in which one of the names sounded like a daedric ruin. God I hope Oblivion is as good as morrowind...

It has many more problems, its a glitchy fuckfest of a game, but its still beautiful.

And we'll see about the framerate. Heres hoping!

Oblivion's system requirements were just announced...

Recommended:

Its funny that my brand new PC just barely beats the recommended (but I will have 2gigs by the time the game comes out, more than likely). Im not interested in the game, but for those who are, happy upgrading (or 360 hunting, if PC upgrades will cost more than a 360).

Well, this is the first game I've seen that I can't hit the recommended specs with my 3 year-old PC. Maybe I'll opt for the 360 version afterall, as I won't be upgrading before April.

Hot, I make the recommended...

I'm a ways over the recommended. Maybe i should pick up another gig of ram though.

Well, considering this is Betheseda, who has never made a game that didnt make a PC's resources wail in pain, the game probably runs like shit on even the recommended.

Seriously. They need to release a spec demo like the kind 3DMark uses to see how it'll run, because otherwise the only guarantee is "Crappy."

My 2.1 ghz won't be cutting it for this, it seems, but I've been meaning to upgrade that for about a year now.

Sounds like I might get the zboz360 version then. I didn't care for the mods.
