Well we did loose 14 starters to the NFL this year (isn't that a record?), it's hard to have a great team with that many new faces. I think everyone around here was kinda surprised we won all of our non-conference games and then expected to do really well in the Big Ten too. I was one of 'em but now I'm looking at this year as practice for the 2005 season. Unless we loose to Indy & Illinois, then we'd rightfully be the laughing stock of the Big Ten.Quote:

Purdue is now 5-3 (same record as UCLA and Notre Dame) and likely out of the top 25. Kyle Orton's Heisman dreams are up in smoke. Meanwhile, Cal is cruising to a 6-1 record. Gee, I wonder who is the better team?
Also, the surprises continue as Miami and Florida State are both upset today. But Auburn is still humming right along and I hope they can play spoiler to Oklahoma this year, that is if Oklahoma doesnt choke like the Colts and throw up garbage games when it actually matters.
I saw Cal kicking ASU's ass today. It was sick.
I was really rooting for Michigan State to beat Michigan today... that come back win pissed me off like no other. Ah well... Outback Bowl here we come again.
Florida State losing is not much of a surprise. They haven't looked good all year long. No way they were a number 5 team. My rankings haven't changed much since the start of the year

Miami was the team I had with those top 4.
We don't know. Cal lost to the only decent team they played. The Big Ten is so much stronger than the Pac 10 that there is no way you can compare records. I hope USC has to play Michigan in the Rose Bowl. They'll get their asses handed to them.Quote:
