Man, that's two years in a row OU doesn't deserve to be here. At least this time, it was iffy.
I was right. *throws confetti*

USC is so stacked and they'll keep on recruiting a plethora of 5 star recruits and always be in the top 10 in recruiting. Norm Chow and Pete Caroll, it really doesn't get any better than that in college football.
And if Leinart does stay another year, which I doubt, oh boy.
And Jarrett is suppose to be better than BMW? got damn.
Nice.Quote:

And after doing some thinking, the SEC is probably the strongest conference. Not becasue of OU's shitty showing in this game, I just think that overall they are probably the strongest conference. It really doesn't matter though. I still think Auburn is getting screwed. I think USC is better, but you never know what could happen if they actually played each other. There should be a playoff system.Quote:

I agree. His stock won't get any higher, it can't get any higher and two teams, the one you mentioned and the Dolphins need a QB, though I think Feeley is serviceable but no where near as talented as Leinart.
I can see Saban salivating over him.
Leinart will need a few years to develop, though. Hes great and will succed in the NFL but I see him as another Palmer or Eli Manning, as opposed to Rotethlishamburger. I could actually see Alex Smith, who declared yesterday, succeeding right away.
But I could be wrong.
I duno. I'd put Auburn & Utah both in the same situation Ohio State was in when they played Miami in 2002. 9 times out of 10 Miami would have won that game. I'd give USC those odds against either team this year. The only way to know for sure would be to see them play but that'll never happen. So USC got the #1 spot. It's been beat into the ground but god damn does the BCS system suck.Quote:

I figured it was between the Big 12 & 10 for the top spot. The Texas Michigan game was the deciding factor. All the Big 10 losses were by 4 or less, the Big 12's were all blowouts, the Pac 10's were both within one score and the SEC's were close other than Florida. Overall a good season of football this year and some good bowl games, can't wait for the next.
Either Auburn is going to get screwed, or there will be 2 champions, which is completely stupid and unsatisfying. I can't get into college football with this terrible system in place.
I have no doubt that USC will get the sole title this year. Alburn was screwed from the preseason poll.Quote:
