Didn't he also say that Namine and Kairi weren't connected?Quote:
So the person who created KH, writes it, makes the characters, designed and drew their faces, and directs it specifically said it's not Roxas, but you don't believe him? gg.
Yeah. Nomura's not terribly reliable.
Don't know, I never saw that. It's not in any of the interviews I read, though I wouldn't put it past him all things considered.
The newly added Org XIII fights are both a tease and disappointing. They're a tease because they're like ten thousand times more awesome then they were in COM and it makes me wish that much more that COM had been completely remade instead of just ported to 3D. They have new patterns, attacks, abilities, and reaction commands, my favorite so far being the guy that summons Anti-Soras to fight you.
They're disappointing because they're way too easy, especially for being optional. Of the three I've fought I ended up power-levelling through them (except the one that just died straight-away), and I wasn't even up to 50 yet when I did that. I had been expecting something more akin to Sephiroth, but I guess it's not that big a deal and there's always the ES knight. At least it's more good bosses which is never a bad thing, and they just might require more skill than brute force (not likely) if I decide to go through the toughest difficulty later on. I'm waiting on the American release for that.
Played around a little with the new drive, Limit Form, and so far it's given me no reason to care. I haven't figured out yet if it adds any skills like the other ones do and it levels like the summons. Seems slower and not as tough as Brave, Master, or Final, nor as nimble as any of them, so it just seems kinda... there. It's nice in that you don't need other guys to activate it, in any case.
Also, one of the new Keyblades is a penis, second picture is Goofy sucking on it.
Have you been able to attempt that guy in gold armor, who's supposedly nearly impossible?
That's the ES knight. You can't fight him until you've beaten the game and loaded the clear file, and I'm currently up to the last level I have left before everything pre-TWTNW is done. It'll probably be a while before I get to him as I'd like to clear out as much of the little stuff that I can first.
I saw the cutscene where what I believe is him is introduced: A member of Org XIII enters a room empty except for a chair and chains, and sits in the chair charging up the chains. This appears to be a direct link to the empty, banged-up, dirty suit of armor on the ground - a suit of armor just like the ones from the secret movie. It may or not be his but it looks like the one from the movie and not the one he's currently wearing, and also considering its condition is starting to put me in the camp of that movie taking place in the past. I'll check out the translated conversations later on, still haven't gotten to that.
If you want a decent look at his current state, here.
So yeah, completed everything except the Mushrooms, ES, and new pumped up XIII. Fighting ES was hilarious, I died three times before I was finally able to hit him and it took another two before I began to catch on to his pattern and figure out when he was vunerable. Still need to go back and really start learning, especially now that I've bothered to watch some videos and see for sure what I need to do. Speaking of which, here's a video of ES in critical mode, with the guy using no limits and no drives and taking no damage:
Same guy also has videos somewhere of the same thing with the rememberance XIII battles. Which reminds me, I spoke too soon about the difficulty. There's a new room I came across which has every Org XIII battle from the game (old and new), only now they all have like fifteen lifebars and can kill you in about three hits. It's fantastic! Fucking around with all that shit makes this one of the best action games in a long time; it's all hard but completely fair and has the controls to make it work. Good thing too, because Sephiroth's way too easy for him to be the ultimate fight in the game.
It does kind of suck that they nerfed a number of the abusable spawns, so levelling up has to be done the old-fashioned way. No more spamming Pride Rock, no more respawns from a room away, all that is gone or tweaked. Currently up to about level 80 and I'll have to do item grinding if I want to match the stats of the guy above, as his strength and magic were at 81 and 80 respectively. I also still haven't gotten Ultima, since I'm pretty sure the last two or three items I need to complete the list for the final Orichalcum+ are dropped from Mushrooms and I suck at those guys.
I finally got around to finishing KH2.
I was pretty dissappointed with it after absolutely loving the first game.
I'm happy it was only 10 bucks.
Are we ever getting the Remix+ over here?
