Why should Square-enix make another FF7 game? They already have a DVD, cell phone game and FPS in the works.
What really needs to be done is remake FF8. Everyone says that FF7 is the best RPG ever, but completely forgets about 8.

VIII is the worst of the post-SNES ones, which is really saying something.

I dunno - I like action games, and a FF7-themed DMC sounds like a lot of fun. Except I don't trust Square's ability to make action games. And the game doesn't look that bad...just poorly screen captured in those last shots. The character modeling looks good for PS2 standards, anyway.

VIII is the best Final Fantasy of all of them (though I never played II or III). VII is a close second.
