Exactly. Although I'm wondering how the new Musashi game will turn out.

Oh, and Musashi isn't so much action as action/adventure. I'm thinking Square won't know what to do with a game that (from the looks of it) hinges a lot of fighting and little else.

Oh yeah - FF8 is an awful game. Now, the story I loathe (how girls could get all wet and dreamy over such a pompous character like Squall baffles me) but even if I give credit that some people dig the 'opera love story' it's still terrible. The gameplay is unbalanced to a point where I could really care less about things coming into the second disc.

Oh, I see. You just have a math issue. The way the greater than / less than symbols work is like this:

Yoshi is greater than Compass, so Yoshi > Compass. You just got mixed up. That's all.

True. But in this case, I think it's highly unlikely I'd consider II or III better than subsequent installments considering all I've read about them. Possible, though, yes. And indeed, as a nod to that microscopic possibility, I admitted, parenthetically, to not having played them.
