dragon quest/warrior

for the dragon quest/warrior fans that we have here, what's your favorite game in the series and why?

mine would be dw3 for the gbc. the class system felt reallyl solid in this one. i like the class system a lot more in dw7, but 3's still my top fave. i've actually started playin' dw7 again after not touching for an entire year 'cause i lost a 75 hour game file....blah blah blah....yeah...hopefully i can finish the game before dw8 comes out. uh...when's that supposed to come out in japan by the way?

oh, the poll in includes any remakes that a game has had.

It'll be out in Japan on Nov 27. No US date set yet, of course.

As far as a favorite I'm torn between 6 and 7. I liked 6's characters and story more, but 7 just gives you so much more crap to do.

I've only personally played #'s 1 and 7.

Enjoyed #7 greatly. Took me almost 120 hours to beat the sucker. Now THAT my friends is gaming (if you like dungeon after dungeon after....)

yeah, 7's a close second for me. the game was just so chock fulla shit to do. i could seriously just spend most of the game fukking around with the class system.

7 was wonderful. I kind of want to get back into it again now, but I didn't bring it with me to school. Well, it's not like I don't have enough to do here, anyway, heheh.

DQ6 is my least hated DQ
