Movies like this shouldn't have big stories. Have you seen Police Story 5? (or whatever the latest number they're at is) The story is god awful. Jackie Chan is a good action star actor, but his emotional range is limited. The best acting Chan does is reactionary stuff to what others are doing at the time.
Keep Ong Bak short, funny, and action packed. These qualities make it great.
