As an avid Diablo fan from back in the day, and buying the damn Battle Chest twice [you heard], no. Let it die, its past its time.Quote:

Come one, we could use another Diablo :)
Konami actually releasing original MG and MG2 with improved graphics on modern console.
Capcom's Alien vs Predator and Carrier Airwing.

He wrote the first thread about him wanting Diablo 3 no more than 24 hours after NeoZ's aptly-titled thread received its last post. Searching under "remake" or "sequel" would have easily turned it up, if his memory of the previous day completely failed him.
A hand drawn 2D platformer on current (or next) gen systems with a large budget and that utilizes the full power those systems provide (hi-res sprites, high frame count, very fluid animation, lots of stuff going on on-screen at once).
Okay first things first I said nothing about it having to be a remake or sequel, I asked what game would you like to see happen.. It could have been something you thought up in your mind.. Say for example a quake game set on venus or something like that... I maybe shoudln't have put D3 underneath my comment, firstly because yes you guys obviously know I like it, and theres no reason for me to keep harping on about it and secondly I made it sound like another sequel or remake thread
But like I said I didn't mean for it to sound like an obvious repeat of other previous threads... I'll stop making them from now on, and get aquainted with the members who are here before I do again...
Finally I was the creater of the diablo2 should it happen thread... My search only turned up the thread I made up..
i'll never understand why some people are so uptight about new threads here, especially when they're created by an obvious non-spammer.
I couldn't tell you why this is cracking me up; but it is.Quote:

Yes, yes, yes. Capcom really needs to start releasing some classic game sets. I know they did it for the PS1 but they were never released here...and AvP has never seen light on a home console. Well, not legally, anyway.Quote:

There's already 5 threads like this. I picked Shadowrun or Sunset Riders.
Same answer I always give to this question:
2D, SNK-developed Star Wars fighting game... now I'll add that it should be on the Atomiswave.
Both excellent ideas. Oh yes, sunset riders was so awesome. And so was Shadowrun, but I was too young to appreciate it/beat it when I played it. Time to replay. Hmmm...emulator or search for snes cartridge?Quote:

And what about that game with the nuke on the truck and you had to clear a path for it? That was pretty cool.
Did I just accidentally identify myself as a Nintendo fanboy? because I'm not. I own all the other systems too. Really what I want are some new kickass 2d platformers. Like there was this awesome game on the turbo grafix that had like a ninja and crazy magic and it was incredible.
Bonk.
And Military Madness that ISN'T advance wars.
Don't forget the Genesis version.
oh snap, I think that's the version I had, which is why my snes version is missing!
I must've leant it to my friend who just bought a "new" genesis.
Edit: See, because I never bought the SNES version....yeah.
Whatever happened to Bonk? That game was awesome.
Whoa, it came out on NES.
"Fast forward to now, December 4th 2003, when Bonk's Adventure is finally being released as title #3 in Hudson's retro collection, alongside such classic remakes as Adventure Island and the previously released Star Soldier + Lode Runner. " Whoa, where do I get this?
Time to make a new Bonk.
So would I. We need a new Punch Out game and a port of Super Punch Out on the GBA along with ports of Super Mario RPG and Gundam Wing-Endless Duel. SEGA and Yu Suzuki need to continue with the Shenmue series.Quote:

Oh God yes. Just like I said the other day, that would be a beautiful thing. And Shenmue 3.Quote:

I totally agree with Biomechanic, 3D platformer with a serious tone. Realistic graphics set in a sci-fi/fantasy style realm. Kind of like if you made a 3D Chakan, but with out all the sword play.
A sequal to Super Punch-Out, same set up meaning its NOT a boxing game like Fight Night with wacky boxers. Either high resolution 2D sprites, or 3D that looks cartoony but NOT cel-shaded.
That would be Blast Corps.Quote:

a full blown 2D RCR sequel made by technos/atlus on xbox that's 4 player, with create a character and xbox live compatible.
Geometry Wars as a full-blown stand-alone release with new enemies and a small number of new firing modes. It wouldn't take much to justify it as a stand-alone release and I'd pay the full $50 for it. But that's me. :)

A DOOM sequel with emphasis on story and atmosphere and have it be really really dark!

I was thinking about this at work today, how about a game like Elite (anyone remember that game, i used to have an amiga 500:P) But based around upgrading a mech, and the universe is comprised of online players... That would rock in my books.
I traded in PGR2 FULLY EXPECTING to be able to get it again for $8 from the MS retail site... but now it's not there anymore. And EB has a fat D next to the game listing, and a used copy is $26.99!! This better be a lull before the GH version is released.Quote:

The same shit i have been pining for, for the last decade.

Meh ... sorry.
:bang:
My picks are still the best.
Bubble Bobble sequel on Atomiswave.
The end.
Dead or Alive: Xtreme Mud Wrestling. Take DoA:XBV to its logical conclusion and show Itagaki how a fighting game actually works. That would be too good.
....
Genrally, I would like to see games stop with the accelerating positive feedback loops their reward systems tend to have. The fact that many developers reward players who do well at some given point in the game by making the game easier drives me up a wall. "Here, you just beasted on a mission; have an uber-weapon that makes the entire game easier!" I guess it is nice the first time you obtain something (when you are still struggling with parts of the game), but beyond that it just gets silly.
On a more serious note, why can we not have a game that is interesting and captaiving without having to be purely designed for entertainment? (Part of the problem is that these works are referred to as video games, which is a loaded word in this society.) I am thinking of something like Chris Crawford's Balance of Power, which was an interesting but depressing game. There is no fairy-tale ending to the Cold War; hell you succeed if you can keep the world from mutual assured destruction.
Funny observation: a lot of people bitch about the never-ending trend of sequals and rehashes in development, yet what most people here want here is sequals. It is much easier to see a known quantity and to demand a more polished (or just more) of it. However, I would hope people here (and elsewhere!) would try to reach for more (and I am setting a great example here... ).
On that note, is asking Nintendo to release another Fire Emblem game in the US too much? :curse:

Street Fighter IV.
Naomi, Chihiro, whatever- keep it 2D. The animation quality in SFIII is sufficient- now it needs to be coupled with 640x480 resolution. Instead of using the general policy of "Tank everyone who isn't Ryu or Ken", have some more characters from past games return- besides the two usual suspects, bring back Vega, T.Hawk, FeiLong, Alex, Dudley, and Chun-Li at least. For new characters, 8-10 will be good. Keep Gill out and tone down Akuma if he must come back as playable. Revamp the barrel bonus round from SFII, throwing in red explosive-filled barrels that must be avoided.
One idea I have for a SFIV survival mode: instead of a lifebar, use a timer that gets 2-4 seconds docked when you are hit. The timer should be depicted as a ticking bomb similar to the original SF continue screen- if it were to run out on its own, you'd be KOed just as if you took your last hit. CPU opponents would have the usual life bars. Defeating opponents or landing combos would help refill your timer. You'd be unable to win by Time Over, of course. :sneak:
Soldier of Fortune III using the Doom 3 (Quake IV) engine wouldn't be bad- and IMO it's probably a question of when we get it.
Also: Animal Crossing MMO.Quote:

Last year's rumour bin, called for the title to skip the Gamecube and was being planned for the Revolution. Hope this is true! ;)Quote:
