Nobody's had any hands-on time with this at all? How sad is it when not one single board member can be bothered to play a new Metal Slug?
Or is it just that nobody wants to admit it? :)

My friend bought it.... I tried it today. It is pretty bad, I only played about 2 levels and I got bored. Basically, you lock onto soldiers to shoot and it is automatic (if you keep the lockon button pressed). When tanks and such shoot at you, you can see where the bullets/bombs will land so you need to move out of the way. Graphics is pretty bland (like a 1st gen PS2 game). I do like the way the original MS characters look in 3D (super deformed), that's about it. The game just lacks the immediacy and excitement of the original. Basically, if it did not have the MS name, you would think it is just another 3rd person military shooter, albeit with cutesy (and not very good) graphics.
