Classic SNK fighters coming to PS2 Online!!

From Magic Box..

- SNK Playmore announced five new bundle packs for PlayStation 2, all are ports of classic Neo Geo titles, all the games will have new Online Support, allowing players to battle online.

The King of Fighters '94 Re-Bout (PS2) - December 04
The King of Fighters '95 - '97 ~3 in 1~ Pack (PS2) - 2005
The King of Fighters '98 - '00 ~3 in 1~ Pack (PS2) - 2005
Garou: Mark of the Wolves (PS2) - 2005
Bakumatsu Roman / Last Blade ~2 in 1~ Pack (PS2) - 2005
Twinkle Stars Sprites (PS2) - 2005....

I wasn't sure if this was posted somewhere, but its great news for sure. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing these games on XBOX live over here and not on the PS2, but thats just me. Can't wait to play Garou online!

Ah, I love the SNK stuff on PS2. Great bargains and now, online play to boot. LB 2 will help prevent me from having to track down a DC copy, same with MotW.

Also, no World Heroes, but this selection is fantastic in its own right.

SNK dosen't own World Heroes, that's ADK.

They just show up in the new SNK all fighters game because I guess they bought the right to use them for the one game.

There are World Heroes characters showing up in Neo Geo Battle Coliseum (Fuuma & Hanzou, at least). Maybe SNK acquired it in the meantime.

SNK probably paid for the rights to the one game, which is what I mentioned in my first post. An SNK rep already said they wanted characters to be from a myriad of different games from the Neo Geo system, and not just properties that SNK owns.

Garou: Mark of the Wolves? Is that Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves or do I know less about SNK than I thought I did? Not that I thought I new anything to begin with.

I would buy an SNK product if that were true. Seriously, time to throw the DC in the trash.
