DMS PS2 mod chip question...

i'm about to purchase a DMS PS2 mod chip, and i would like to know how do you dissable the chip to play DNAS online games?

also, is this the best mod chip available for the PS2?

not sure about the dms but i know with the messiahs you hold down the reset button until the eject button turns blue. so its probably similar.

also if for some reason you get your system banned (im assuming youre using legit online games, tho theres patches to play burns online and circumvent the DMAS) by somehow booting a game, getting online and not disabling the chip, there is a "system id changer" you can find around that basically gives your system a new id and lets you get back online. kind of like getting a new eeprom for the xbox.
