There, can we shut up about this now? Rangel introduced it, everybody said it would never pass, and now look at that vote.

And I already know about that blatant fake from BlatantTruth.org.

I was never really worried, but I guess I'm happy about it if for nothing but to get my worried friends to calm down about it.

I read some of the quotes from Democrats in that article and thought I was on Michaelmoore.com or Democraticunderground.com or something... pretty wild that our nation's leaders are turning into the raving lunatics that are consuming the far left of the Democratic party.

It's also funny that they were saying these things while they helped to crush this bill.

My girlfriend's shitty college professors have been trying to tell students that a draft is certain next year because of the war. Fucking San Francisco wackos. In the immortal words of Michael Savage, "Extreme liberalism is a mental disorder."

That McDermott quote is aggravating. It's your fucking party member that brought up the draft bill to have as a scare tactic. What fucking a**holes. I have a left-wing friend that was in China for awhile and saw that Capitol Hill Blue article or whatever, then went off, "I ain't coming back to the US. Fuck Bush, you ain't drafting me!" I had to explain to his ass it was a Democrat doing it with no support and it didn't mean jack shit. Gotta give Rangel credit - that bullshit will work to their favor.
