When you talk about when Howard was last funny you gotta go back a few years. That's just the pull Howard has. O & A were his bitches, and they're bitter.

True, Howard may have been being a dick, but...who really cares? It's O & A. :)

Just to clarify, I'm not saying Howard's show isn't entertaining, I'm just saying it isn't funny. I used to always listen to Howard in the morning and O&A in the afternoon. I still think it is a great show, but it just doesn't rub me the right way like O&A does.

I have a mean-spirited sense of humor though, and O&A is a huge turn-off to those without one.

I dont know, Ive never heard of Opie and Anthony, but Ive listened to Stern on and off during his career and always got a chuckle out of his shows.Probably becuase they were something different than the ass-kissing bouncy,happy normal radio in the morning.

It does suck for Howard to treat these two guys like shit through his whining and stuff, although I think there might be more to the story than just what O and A say.

There are always three sides to a story: your side, my side, and the truth. They're all going to tell a different side, both for perspective and for controversy, and I'm sure the truth will come out at some point.

This is true. Its probably why I hate hearing 10 minutes of trash talk like this on the radio because there's always that other side or perspective.

We can do without that. Just give me something funny to listen to or play some music. Who needs all that drama in the morning.

I think we can all agree about that.

I laugh every morning. I haven't hear Opie and Anthony since they were kicked off the air in Boston, but they were never more than low class immitators. Plus, they used to talk about how much they liked Howard when they were on WAAF, one of them made it into Howard's studio for some Jackie impersonation contest. I suppose they can change thier minds about how they feel about someone, but they aught to thank the man for thier careers.

I never got to hear either of these guys on the radio. The most provocative show they play around here is Phil Hendrie at midnight, unless of course you count the last hour of Imus in the Morning.

Shit rolls down hill. Just as Howard looked like a prick for the gag order on O&A, O&A pretty much got the Radio Chick fired (purposely), and Ron and Fez fired (accidently along with shit canning the rest of the on-air talent).

Like Master said, O&A is an acquired taste. They were funny when they weren't being racist or doing their "cringe radio" bits which was pretty much most of the time.
