Schwartzenegger Bans Foie Gras in California

Is the government even allowed to ban food like this? I mean, there is nothing wrong with foie gras, its not like crack cocaine and shit.

I mean, whats next, a bunch of vegans come into power and ban hamburgers? Its not that far-fetched I guess, especially in California.

I never knew what foie gras was before this thread, and after learning what it is, I don't want it. I think it is inhumane, not to mention disgusting. But that's my choice to protest it, not the state's.

I knew what it was, and it is delicious.

This reminds me of an episode of the Pet Psychic (as you can guess, there was a woman involved. I would not, of my own volition, watch the fucking Pet Psychic) where a farmer took his motherfucking turkey, a useless fucking TURKEY to the Pet Psychic, the fucking PET PSYCHIC, because it was DEPRESSED. And she was fucking talking to it, and telling the guy WHY the goddamned TURKEY was DEPRESSED, and the farmer was nodding like all of this made ANY FUCKING SENSE AT ALL. I can't stress how absurd and surreal all this was to me.

I don't care if you have the happiest fucking turkey in the world or a suicidal goth bird, kill it and eat it before you even THINK about spending money to take it to a goddamned pet psychic. What the hell is wrong with you?

Anyway, I'm all for foie gras.
