You just made me dig in my closet for 20 minutes to find my next gen issues and read some of them again. In addition to the interviews, they had great feature articles, like the top ten gaming disasters. I remember when they got to Fight for Life, one of the employees at Atari or whatever company made it, said they had a board meeting, and everyone in the room looked at the game, and said it was better than Virtua FIghter and Tekken. He quit the next day.

If a screwdriver/ratchet/what-have-you becomes too dull it can't grip the sides or ridges of what it's turning. Personally, I prefer to have my women-folk do it for me.

Correct me if my timeline's off here but Flock's comments were designed to piss all over Madden to grab headlines (b/c Gameday was going downhill) and wasn't it right after the interview Flock was gone from 989 (moving to SOE?) and they started putting out things like Gameday 2001?

The interview came out, I think, at the same time that GameDay was 3D and Madden was still 2D. Madden's marketing was using retarded terms like "v-polys" and "liquid AI" to try and make up for the obviously lacking technology.

By my recollection, that would've been the time GameDay 98 came out.
