I used to love Star Wars, but come on, it's over. Phantom Menace killed it all on its own, the second one was trash too. I went from seeing TPM on the opening night to taking months until I saw the second. And when I finally did, I walked out of it. Awful. Yoda CGing around the screen doing back-flips, someone expects me to accept that shit? How anyone could stand to watch that with Empire Strikes Back out there is way beyond me. Part of me felt like downloading this new trailer, but just looking at the poster makes me pissed.
And the DVD trilogy even leaves in those shit CG scenes he went back and added. Some people don't know how to leave a good thing alone.
Your best choice is to look for laserdisks burned onto DVD over ebay, otherwise keep looking for those old tapes if they're still lying around.
I can't figure out what my parents did with the old tapes we used to have before they split, they had the original covers and everything. :(

Man. I hated the most recent two Star Wars movies with all my heart. It was bad enough that they sucked, but i went with some friends who are die-hard Star Wars fans who couldn't understand what I hated about it.
I want to see the next movie because after i do i'll have perfect authority to say how terrible it is.
