After hearing what Lucas said last night on 60min, I feel that his "heart" was not into making Ep1-Ep3, but his heart was into making Ep4-Ep6, thats why we don't like the prequels. That being said I enjoyed Ep1, Ep2 and will enjoy Ep3. I like the CGI yoda, the fight scene was good, can't wait for yoda to face Sidious.

Movie Trading Company, usually sells them for about $25. They'll only give you about $5 for it though.

Considering the budgets of those movies, I'd have to disagree. Just the fact that he has John Williams (With the London Symphony) doing the score and all the money put into special effects, this series is far from that of the B movie grade.

I agree that it was meant to be enjoyed, as a fun filled adventure though. Not as something to be taken totally serious, as most fans seem to believe.

see to me it's never been a budget thing, he had some pretty big budgets with Empire and Return also

it's the writing and the attitude that make something a B-movie

and lucas has ALWAYS said thats what he made these movies out to be
him paying homage to the serials and flash gordon stuff and all those things he saw as a kid
