Wow, the CG in this movie sucks.

OK I just lost all hope and hype for this movie. I just read this in a Lucas interview

"It's not like the old Star Wars," Lucas told theatre owners at the ShoWest convention. "This one's a little bit more emotional. We like to describe it as Titanic in space. It's a tearjerker."

It's doomed.

Its a tear jerker because everyone your suppose to give a damn about dies. OMG! Who knew!?

It's funny that the only character I give a crap about in this new trilogy is one of a handful that do live. Obi-Wan being a badass & all.

Dude, you're overreacting about as much as Lucas is probably exaggeratting a BIT on the movie making anyone want to cry although (spoiler it will be sad indeed seeing Yoda and Obi Wan having to flee, I won't cry at that though I may shed a tear when poor Padme dies giving birth :(

Lucas and McCallum repeatedly said early on that Attack of the Clones would be "a romance movie, not an action movie" which turned out to be a total falsehood. It had as much or more action than any of the other movies.

I read this too and couldn't get the image of vader holding palpatine up while palp's arms were stretched out like wings on the tip of a star destroyer out of my head

I think its doomed because all I heard about attack of the clones from lucas was that it was going to be Titanic in space. Well I didn't want Titanic in space, I certainly don't want it again, and I REALLY don't want it in the movie thats supposed to set up the original trilogy. Everyone dies? Thats fine, it's expected. Don't go and make it sappy.
