Im excited about E3.....

Wow. Im really amazed at the stuff announced or revolving around this E3. New Shining Force, VF4 Evolution, System price drops, Rayman 3, new Sega Rally, cheap Sega Arcade hardware, Xbox arcade hardware, Zelda being shown, Mario Sunshine being shown, Sega throwing online titles left and right at diffrent systems, Auto Modellista, Red Dead revolver, Daredevil, Star Ocean 3, Batman Dark tomorrow, the guy that created Rayman designing an all new game... it just goes on and on, Im so excited about so many titles and other announcments.

*whew*

It hasnt even started yet has it? I just cant get over how cool it would be to be there this year. Im gonna go meditate and hopefully learn how to levitate or something so I can fly over to L.A.

I kept reading these game announcments and noticed I was breathing heavier, then thought about myself hyperventilating over friggen game announcements. Hence the title "panting". Would it be better if I renamed it, "Im excited about E3". Just seems kinda boring to me.

Yes, this e3 is one to be excited over. Last year was kinda cool with the gba, xbox and cube being shown for the first time, but the games were lacking. this year, its all about the games.

There are so many booths to visit. Nintendo and SEGA are my obvious first two choices. my third might be Crave to see if there are any treasure games there. Maybe Ubi Soft for some rayman 3 after that.

On the other end of the spectrum, I'm not even thinking about it...

Seeing how you mentioned it in your post, what is Red Dead Revolver? All I know about it is what it says on Capcom's E3 page. And that's that it's a PS2 game and it's coming out in the Fall.

Red Dead Revolver is a western styled action game. I havent seen any screen, but I imagine that Capcom would make a pretty sweet western game. Something like DMC, with some sweet spaghetti western atmostphere. Yup yup, I'm mighty excited.

But since that ain't happening, some free playable demo discs *coughGunGravecough* of upcoming games from E3 would also make me damned excited.

Hi-Fi (of GameFan fame) is working on something exciting. If it all comes together, would anybody here be interested in a E3 DVD...?

Metal_Slug: Well Im sorry, I wish there were announcements coming to get you excited. I understand completely what you mean though. I still gotta have hope that intresting things will be announced in regards to Capcom fighters and SNk and whatnot. I have a feeling that stuff announce at and around this E3 wil make me feel very comfortable purchasing any of the next gen systems. As far as 2D fighters, shmups, and quirky games of the like go, there will be something soon enough to start making people happy in that regard. Atleast I hope. All the people that seem to want them are starting college now, are are getting to the point where thier programming skills are up to snuff. Even if its an underground thing, I bet there will be really cool uprising in those styles of games. Though... I guess thats not gonna get you excited about E3 anytime soon. Sorry for rambling, Im in a weird mood this morning.

I bet it doesn't help that you're thousands of miles away from E3. Maybe you'd be a little more excited if you were on the west coast. I'm sure you'd get in if you were determined enough :)
