I liked Dark Metamorphosis.
it's all about the Crissaegrim. (sp?)
absolute ownage.
The Crissaegrim was great and all, but it killed some of the challenge at that point. Well, I mean, as if God's Garb and the Rings of Varda weren't bad enough.Quote:

<whines> Why wont this game play on my goddamn ps2! Will it run on the ps3 you think?
Play while eating peanuts. That's the best way.

Man, I loved all the hidden shit and moves in SOTN. Was Dark Metamorphosis the one where you'd regain health if blood from your enemies landed on you?
Even little touches like the fairy familiar sitting on your shoulder if you sat still for a while and then falling off when you started running again or the bat familiar falling in love with you when you turned into a bat were cool. And I was glad to see that the game appeared to be uncensored...sometimes religious imagery in games can touch a nerve, but no, there's an attack involving giant crucifixes with Jesus nailed to them and everything.
Easily one of my favorite games ever. The only drawback was that Alucard got so bad-ass and powerful that by the end there was little challenge.
Love that soundtrack, too.
Plays on mine. Ha ha.Quote:

One thing I tried to do recently was go through the game with Richter. Is it even possible to fully beat the game with him? I couldnt even get up to Dracs Tower let alone beat Hydra of all bosses with the guy :|
I've beaten the game as Richter, but not complete. In other words, Richter has access to all doors and dungeons. I spent a half hour carefully weaving the quickest route through both castles.
The last boss isn't Drac, either. You just have to beat Shaft and the game is over. (Still love that name, Shaft. Incredible)
