An extremely sick Castlevania SOTN run

I remember a shield that had a special spell effect that when you executed it all you did was run into enemies and it would drain all their life bits at a time and give it to you. It was possible to beat bosses with this as well. I happen to accidentily find out about it though it wasn't obvious.

Do you mean the Medusa shield? Or maybe you mean Alucard's shield when used with the shield rod?

I haven't done full completion, but I got close. If there are any places he can get to, there aren't many. There's a lot of tricky spots with him, but most of them can be solved with brute force. I think Shaft took maybe 2-3 item crashes with Holy Water before he just gave up. Once you get enough of the HP increases, Richter's game is pretty simple.

Blasphemy! Alucard was the last manly protagonist in a Castlevania game. He's a badass--the way he says "DARK METAMORPHOSIS" is awesome, along with his other spells ("SOUL STEAL"). And then the way he told his dad to shove it--that takes some cahones.
