I have a feeling this season is just going to end opening far more questions than it answers. Exactly like what happened last season.

snap.
BBobb: The smoke monster/"cerberus" was referred to twice last year as "a security system." Considering this is sci fi, that seems straightforward enough to me. So what if we have to wait awhile longer to find out what its true nature is?
I really enjoyed the Bernard and Rose episode, the flashbacks were interesting and the cross encounter she had with Locke was great stuff. Next week Mike is back. Bring on the rumble in the jungle. And I am hoping Sawyer gets to confront Beardo before the finale.
And here I thought it was going to be Sayid since Naveen Andrews has been griping in interviews about the deaths and that "I guess I need to find another role to find purpose in my life." But better Libby than Sayid who is still very crucial. Plus this will effect poor Hurleymeister greatly and adds more weight to her eery appearance in the asylum which seemed to indicate to me that she might be a villian somehow.Quote:

NEW YORK - ABC will launch a global interactive game based on the hit TV show "Lost," the network announced Monday.
Details, however, are about as mysterious and convoluted as the plot of the island castaway drama. The "Lost Experience" will be Internet-based and will feature a parallel story line that is not part of the TV show.
It will begin May 2 in the United Kingdom, May 3 in the U.S. and May 6 in Australia. There is no winning prize, but the experience will offer clues that could unlock some of the island's many secrets.
"It's like a giant, worldwide mysterious jigsaw puzzle that will come to life for all the world to solve," Mike Benson, senior vice president of marketing for ABC Entertainment, said in a statement.
What is known about the challenge is that it includes the introduction of new characters and the mysterious Hanso Foundation. The first clue requires finding a toll-free number that will be released during the show or commercial breaks.
Clues will vary by continent, so participants will benefit from coordinating their information. ABC said the game is designed to appeal to both fans and people unfamiliar with "Lost."

Neat. The show itself is like a big scavenger hunt so I can dig this. I remember them hinting at this in a podcast last month.
Well, "The Lost Experience" has started, and it is fucking awesome. The site design is extremely slick, and as of now, is already way more entertaining then I <3 Bee's.

People at Lost Forums have already figured out a bunch of stuff.
If you goto newsletter, type in PASS WORD for the name, then type in Yes, when she asks you a question. Then type in 'Breaking Strain' for the password.
Also, goto Joop's corner, and type in Breaking In. Then click all of the circles on the page. Once you see the letter, I recommend reading it, it's kinda cool. Then go down to the signiture, and click the second letter in Peter.

HOLY FUCK!
Lost ain't playing no more.
WTF, I knew it that was going to happen.
Damn, I cant wait until next week where it looks like another bites the dust.
edit: MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THOSE BEHIND
OK, we get excellent character development with Ana redeeming herself and finally resisting violence, and the response is....to just out of the blue kill her (just like after Shannon was killed after she started being more kind and openhearted)? STUPID. Why are women always the first to die on this show? Did the writers get made fun of by girls a lot when they were younger? :p
On the surface, it feels like a neat plot twist that Michael is an Other. But Ana and Libby's deaths were flat out pointless IMHO and it just felt like it was done for cheap shock value. So....the Others hired Michael to kill Henry for failing or...what? And as a smaller but still significant plot hole, how is Hurley ever gonna know where he saw Libby from?
This may confirm the US magazine story from several months ago that the writers/producers could not stand Rodriguez being a diva, barely showing up on set ect.(she was released from jail again last week) and were itching to off her character.
Still a hard hitting episode. Not saying Michael being an Other isn't interesting. I was in the camp of folks who theorized that he would become obsessed with bringing back Walt to the point of turning traitor. But I don't see how this in any way logically fits in with him trying to get his son back.
Poor Hurley. :(
