"TNL - Punishing all for actions of few since 1998"
I heard they were supposed to be putting some new upgrades on LIVE soon, I think they were setting something up to detect non-standard hard drives or some reason along those lines... I dunno though, no XBOX/XBL and I'm just going by word of mouth here.
Xbox Live is currently unavailable.
The service will be available shortly.
We appreciate your patience.
If this happens again, step one is to go to this page:
http://www.xbox.com/en-us/live/default.htm
Is "The page you’re trying to reach contains exclusive content for registered Xbox.com users. But don’t worry! Signing up for an Xbox.com account is easy (and free!)." supposed to mean something?
Yes, log into your account your forum noob...
Its a message from "Major Nelson"
Don't get uppity with me because you lack the skills to type 'www.xbox.com' then click 'xbox live' before making a thread that has references to a message board that you have to be a member of to view.
It's not my fault you are a gimp, try your parents on that one.
You goofed so stfu...
If you have a live account then you have an account for the forum... :bang:
The service should be back up in 60 minutes.
No, you don't, fuckstick.Quote:

Again, don't blame me because you are a gimp that can't go to another page rather than make a lame thread.
Um yes it does, its the same as having an MSN account.... a hotmail account... and you create one when you create an XBOX Live account..Quote:

You do have to create a forum name. And you need the .net password if you don't have one. And I did not auto get one when I signed up for live on my console.
Nothing is up my ass, thanks.
It took less time to manually type in xbox.com and go there than to make this thread, but, whatever.
If you do not know your billing information, or the last 4 digits of your credit card, you can't make one of those XBL board accounts. This much, I know.
So, let's recap:
1) Useless thread.
2) Snippy when you are wrong.
3) Objects up your butt.
4) IBM.
Perhaps because I called my XBOX Live in...
Either way.. someone is being a faggy bitch.
Lol, don't get snippy because you are a dumbass.
Again, blame Momma and Poppa.

Never played it...

Fuck off you pretentious ass hole.
Fusion Frenzy is fun. And I need to add a few more words for this to freaking go through.
this is true.Quote:

"The Xbox Live team has noticed and received reports from the Xbox Live community about users connecting to the Xbox Live service using modified Xbox consoles. In most cases, these users have used the modifications to gain an unfair advantage over other players, such as racing modified, faster cars in Project Gotham Racing 2. By doing this, users are breaking the Terms of Use that must be agreed to when a gamertag is created. The Xbox Live team will not tolerate this unfair activity and have taken steps to protect our community from this cheating.
Xbox Live has recently initiated additional security measures to ensure that those connecting to Xbox Live with modified hardware will be removed from the system. Modified consoles will be banned, and information about those banned machines will be tracked to prevent them from connecting to the service again.
It’s important to the Xbox Live team that we work to provide an environment that is free of cheating and gives all players an opportunity to compete fairly online, and that's why I wanted to ensure that the community knows this. Xbox Live constantly monitors for users attempting to bypass security measures and gain unfair advantages over other players, and will take additional action as needed."
well there you go.
MVS/JMET: Please leave the catfighting where the catfighting belongs.
I just wish they didn't schedule the maintenance for Sunday, when I have time to play games on Live. Monday at 11 a.m. is a better time for that...for most people.
yeah especially midday sunday.
I agree, we were both acting juvenile...Quote:

I prefer good games, thanks.
Wait... I modified stuff in PGR2, but you could never get them online due to the fact that I could only run with my modified stuff when the game was on my HD. Whenever I played off my disc, it'd be back to normal. Don't quite get it.
I think it relates to people hacking in data either through the downloaded content or by editing the cache. You can not get unsigned code onto Xbox Live unless someone has some real wizardry going on. I do not know how far they will take this; they actually stand to lose a bit of money by banning every modded system out there. A fair number of people with mods have taken steps to play on the service, including buying the legit product. Ban them from Live and they will not buy shit. Probably insignificant, but it is worth pointing out.Quote:

The most consistent thing seems to be this: If you had an Xbox that was previously banned but had the EEPROM swapped since, you will be banned again. Some people have made it work by swapping the EEPROM and the hard drive, but other people have done that and still been banned. No one knows what is up.

Wow, you're sure upset today. Is everything alright?
Maybe they were also down for the servers they needed to add for Halo 2.
Nothing some heavy drugs post 12 hours of work won't solve.
Check back in an hour, I'll be happy then.
