The only good thing was the voice acting. The game was linear, the missions were boring, and the cut scenes were annoying. GTA is the exact opposite.

HA! The driving engine in The Getaway wishes it was even remotely like GTA (read as: worth a shit). Also, the goons behind The Getaway found quite the insidious manner of making you THINK they'd designed a detailed city, when in reality it was just the same eight or nine streets. They just added a constricting time limit and a cripplingly obtuse system for showing you where to go instead of even the most rudamentary map -the very fucking FIRST Grand Theft Auto atleast came with that- and before you snidely reply you can just 'use a map of London' I suggest you try that and see how far it gets you.

I think we all know you're a 'rebel' for not liking what is clearly one of the most revolutionary games in history, but trying to elevate such rank garbage as The Getaway isn't helping your case.
