Hey folks, anyone know if there is a version of Robotron on one of those Midway Classics sets that can be configured for play with two analog sticks=one for movement and one for shooting? I was not able to do so with the PS1 version that I have, and it is too frustrating to roll my fingers around the buttons (especially for diagonal shots). Not looking for a MAME related answer, but specifically for a console version......
Pretty sure Midway Arcade Treasures Vol 1 on PS2 has dual analog control. I know for a fact that the Smash TV on the same collection does.

It predates the Dual Shock and doesn't support it.
However, if you have two arcade sticks you can plug them both in and have a near arcade-perfect Robotron experience.Quote:

Total Carnage on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 supports the two analog sticks too. Works great.
You might want to get the Xbox or Cube versions of MAT because the Smash TV emulation is half-framerate on the PS2.
