See that's the problem in this country though. For whatever stupid reason a primarily Judeo-Christian institution is intertwined with the state and federal government. Something that the Constitution expressedly forbids by stating that no government body shall favor any one religion over another.Quote:

Marriage as a spiritual institution, however, is the domain of the church and the church alone. The law has no say in matters of God and neither do the uninitiated, ignorant or outsiders. If gay couples start spewing nonsense about wanting God to bless their unions they are in for one HELL of a fight. Asking God to bless sin is pure blasphemy. No self-respecting Christian would EVER stand for that kind of garbage.
Let gays marry in the name of man and the law, but NEVER in the name of God and the Church.
